Winston's visit

About two weeks ago our friend Winston came to spend a few days with us. His mom had a beautiful baby girl and had to stay in the hospital for awhile. We did a ton of arts and crafts to keep the boys entertained! I realize now that I truly do not want anymore children! One is definitely enough!!! Kuddos to all of you that have more, you are my hero!

The boys made bird feeders

I bundled them up so they could play outside.

We made sugar cookies and cut out Christmas designs and frosted them.

Curious George Live in OKC

I know, I know, I am so behind on blogging. What can I say, it's the holidays!

About a month ago, we took little man to a live show of Curious George (his favorite cartoon). I splurged and bought us floor seats thinking that the actors would come down from the stage and interact with the kids ( okay, in my defense all the shows we have been to they had done this). This so did not happen. All we got for the extra $5.00 per ticket were peoples heads in our way. After intermission we hijacked a few seats up in the stands and really enjoyed the rest of the show! Nate had a fabulous time! We stuffed our faces with popcorn and cotton candy and enjoyed every second of it! Nate's daily mantra has been " Mom, I can't stop thinking about the Curious George show. I need to see it again"!

Tired Man

This afternoon we went to our friend Traci's house. We had a blast. Nate was extremely tired when we got home but stated quite emphatically "I am not going to go to sleep"! After about 15 minutes I went to check on him and this is what I found..................

Happy Halloween!

Last night we had friends and family join us for Halloween fun! Nate's best friend Winston came to trick or treat with him. Those two boys were hilarious! When Winston came into the house (dressed as a skeleton) Nate took off screaming (in fun)! Winston promptly pulled off his mask and said "Nate it's just me, Winston!"

I was not sure how Nate would do trick or treating around the neighborhood. Based on our mall experience, I assumed he would only last about 20 minutes. It is not good to assume. Nate and Winston ran from house to house for a good hour! They came home when it got dark and their buckets were filled with candy. Sean picked up some glow sticks a few days ago and the boys had a blast hanging out in the yard playing with them while the adults visited and handed out candy.

We are having Winston and his mom over later this week to do science experiments with the majority of his loot!
