Saturday Sleepover
Last weekend Nate had his friend Winston over for a sleepover. We took the boys to Tumble Time and met our wonderful friends Mike, Joanne and Gavin. The boys had a fantastic time!
Gavin originally decided to be a superhero and wear a cape so of course the other boys had to have one too! I tried to get Gavin in the picture but he was too busy saving the world!
Nate being silly!
That kid can twirl a hula hoop!
Being air-launched by dad
Chasing bubbles!

I can do it all by myself!
A few weeks ago, Nate decided he wanted to make a sandwich all by himself. He went to the pantry, pulled out the bread and honey and proceeded to make a honey sandwich. We tried to get him to put peanut butter on it but he was determined to have a honey only sandwich!
Getting the bread ready
Putting on the honey
Spreading it out
Putting the pieces together
Cutting it in half
He climbed up on the counter to get his own plate
Ahhh, sweet victory!
Great job Nate!!!!!!

March Crafts.....
We had a few cold days last month so in order to keep Nate entertained indoors, we did crafts! Normally our crafts are disasters; however, these actually turned out great! Woohoo, I think we are finally get the hang of it (not really, they were just easier crafts)!
Our frog puppet. Nate cut out, glued and painted all on his own! Great job Nate :)
I found these great mosaics at Hobby Lobby. They are little felt squares that you adhere by number. Nate did an awesome job!
Our last project was a lava lamp sans the lamp. I found this craft in parenting magazine. We used alka seltzer to make the bubbles. Nate LOVED making this and playing with it! Unfortunately, it met with a quick demise. While transferring it from the fireplace the lid shattered. Let me tell you, cleaning up a jar of vegetable oil out of the carpet is not fun! Poor Sean got stuck with the job because I was at Joni's helping with Maddie. Nate and I have decided to make another soon!
