Miniature Golf

Last night we took Nate miniature golfing for the first time. What an adventure! Nate loves the WII golf game we have so we knew he would have a great time actually playing golf. He was a trip! We knew going into the place that his swing was going to be a problem (he is used to doing a full swing); so Sean and I explained to him that we were only going to "putt" the ball due to safety reasons. Nate was on board. So, up he goes to the first area, puts his ball down and softly hit the ball down the green. He is a little too young to understand the rules of the game, so we let him hit his ball until he made it into the hole. It was hilarious to watch him maneuver that ball. It looked like he was playing hockey!

Eager to proceed to the next hole, Nate often became impatient with Sean and I and would "help"- ie pick up our ball and throw it in the hole. It was a blast! About halfway through the course, Nate became much more comfortable with the game. His dad tried to show him several times how to hit the ball but he was much happier going Happy Madison on it! He actually took a running start and swung the hell out of the club! Thankfully, it didn't go far. We will definitely be going again! Here are some pictures of our adorable little man...........

Off it goes! Great job Nate!

Still going....

Almost there...

Woohoo! I love how his feet are off the ground in this picture!

Bathtime Fun!

In an effort to help Nate overcome his fear of water on his face, we have been practicing in the bathtub. It seems to be helping. He will now run through the sprinkers and can tolerate a small amount of water near his eyes. I am going to enroll him in a mommy and me swimming class at the YMCA this summer. I am hopeful it will have better results than the last class he took!

Sorry, some of the pictures had to be cropped to edit out the twigs and berries!

Thursday Night Baseball

Our friends Mike, Kim and Winston came out to cheer on Nate's wee-ball team on Thursday night. Winston was an absolute hoot! He did an awesome job cheering and watching Ella.

Nate had more fun climbing the fence than playing ball.

After the game, we took the boys to Braums for ice cream. Nate tried mint and chip for the first time and loved it!

He dropped the last piece and didn't understand why mom wouldn't let him eat it! "Mom, it looks clean"!

The boys saying goodbye. So cute!

Facebook Fiasco!

I have been officially hacked on Facebook. I received several messages from friends that they were getting instant messages from me that I was in London and needed money! I reported the problem to Facebook, changed my password but my account has been disabled. I am waiting to hear back from them to see if it can be reactivated; if not, I will have to set up a new account. You may be seeing a friend request from me in the next few days!

**UPDATE** I am back up and running! Woohoo! Two days without Facebook is simply to much!

My Little Fairy Prince

Last night I was not home when Nate went to bed. When I went to give him his goodnight kiss he was so precious I had to snap a picture! It is amazing that he still sleeps in the same position as he has since birth! It must be pretty comfortable.

Making Pizzas

This week has been pretty low key. Nate and I have been hanging out at the waterpark and chilling! Yesterday we decided to make mini pizza's for lunch. Nate loved them because he could make his all by himself!

Mom, it needs more sauce!

Yummy!

Are they done yet?

Ella the Destroyer!

Yes, she is adorable; however she is also a tornado on four legs! We love our Ella dearly but she is quite a handful. Our little princess in now in her eighth week of life and loves to bite and chew. Poor Nate has been the recipient of many of her bites. We are working with her on this but it is taking longer than Nate would like! She is still not potty trained but I am hoping that will change here shortly. On a brighter note, she now can sit on command! Woohoo! Here are some pictures of our little mischief maker......................
