The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is one of Nate's favorite cartoons. In one episode, Mickey and his friends go fishing for gooey fish. Thanks to this cartoon, Nate now associates fishing with gooey fish! This morning we decided to go on another first with little man, fishing! Since the weather is supposed to get into the high 90's today, we decided to set out early on our adventure! Nate was so excited to go catch the gooey fish! We didn't know how he would do, so we decided to forgo a long trip to one of the local lakes and instead went to Elmer Thomas Park. Nate had a blast! It took him a few tries to figure out how to launch his line but once he got it he was on fire! Sean bought him a Shrek pole that uses a button to release the line, perfect for a three-year-old! Here are some pictures of our lovely morning at the park!
