Catching Fruit Flies

Last night, Nate decided he wanted pancakes for dinner. As we were setting up our ingredients, Nate noticed a fruit fly! Jumping off the bar stool, he yelled "Mom, I will be right back!" About three minutes later he reemerges with this........

He has a bug collecting kit that includes a net and specimen jar!

He chased that fly around our kitchen for quite awhile. To his dismay (and the fruit fly's delight) he was unable to catch him! Oh well! Great idea Nathan!!!!!
