Oklahoma Storms!

Wednesday evening, Chicken Little once again interrupted broadcasting with a doom and gloom report! A large thunderstorm was north of our little town reeking havoc. It was slow moving but packed quite a punch. Of course being the neurotic girl I am when it comes to bad weather, I was glued to the TV (really, some anxiety medicine is needed)! Three hours into Chicken's reporting, Lawton had yet to receive any rain, hail, etc. Finally around 12:40 AM the storm hit Lawton. I of course was still awake when the hail began to pound our house but it was so loud it woke Sean . We had golf ball size hail smacking us for about 5 minutes. Some of our friends had hail up to the size of baseballs! Here is a picture of the larger hail courtesy of our friend Jenn........

Thankfully we had no vehicle or home damage!
